‘‘Hôtel Germain – Ganvié Holiday Resort'' proposes to its Guests, excursions on water that take them to other lake villages in the lake local governments of Sô-Ava and Aguégués. Ganvié is a fully lake village and other lake villages in Ganvié are partially lake. In the partially lake villages, the houses are built on land, and the river or lake water passes through the village, and once in a year (approximately 03 months out of 12) these partially lake villages are flooded when the lake or river level is high. In order to ensure that our Guests enjoy fully their stay on water, we propose to them the exploration of the other lake villages. These are true excursions offering the opportunity to our Guests to breathe pure natural air, to admire water and the aquatic world especially the plants, the various species of birds living on water; and to impregnate themselves with the wealth and diversity of lake realities.

We wish to inform our Dear Guests that due to our fight against the systematic ransoming/ harassment of tourists in Ganvié, so much decried by the major travel guide books such as Guide Routard and Petit Futé, that they have no chance of getting to us if they do not reserve directly with us or phone before coming to Benin Republic or the jetty. Booking directly with us is supporting us in combating the systematic ransoming and harassment of tourists in Ganvié.

We grant a 10% discount on all our services, except on drinks and transportation from the jetty to Ganvié, for all reservations of at least two nights.
