Rep. of Benin is the cradle of voodoo. More than a religion, voodoo is in Rep. of Benin a way of living supported by scientific and spiritual approaches. Medically, it completes often the modern medicine. Spiritually it is unquestionably a religion. It offers the opportunity to communicate with the ancestors and to read one's life. In most instances, the realization of the major voodoo ceremonies give rise to large gatherings.
‘‘Hotel Germain Ganvié Holiday Resort'' offers to its Guests that wish it the opportunity to explore effectively the voodoo reality, in a typical village of Rep. of Benin , Glo-Agbodjèdo. For a half day, under the aegis of the Chief Voodoo Priest, an initiation to the voodoo rituals is organized. The participants include the followers of voodoo, the specialist voodoo drummers and the villagers that join the voodoo followers as soon as they hear the beats of the voodoo drums. The tourists will appreciate the dances of the voodoo followers, they will explore the voodoo spirit takes a voodoo follower, the various types of voodoo and are given the opportunity to film and register.
